Bicycles
Most students hire a bicycle because it is the cheapest, quickest and easiest way to travel around the city. There are many cycle routes around the city. Long-stay students usually buy a bicycle - typically this costs about £70. Approximate hire charges are:

Buses
The main bus station in Cambridge is called Drummer Street. You can buy tickets to the airports, and cities such as London and Edinburgh from the office there or by visiting www.nationalexpress.com coaches to all major UK airports depart from Parkside.
