Terms and Conditions 2011 for The New School of English Ltd, Cambridge, UK (continued)
II. Visas
- If you need a visa to enter the UK, you must first send the enrolment form and deposit. When we have received the enrolment form, registration and deposit, we will provide you with documents that, together with other documents and information that you will have to provide, will help you obtain a visa. For further information on visas, please click here.
- You are expected to complete the course on which you have enrolled and to attend all classes. If you fail to do this, the school may inform the UKBA about this matter.
- If you decide to leave your course before you are due to finish, it is your responsibility to inform the school of a contact address, in compliance with visa rules and regulations. The school may inform the UKBA about your decision to finish your course earlier than you had originally intended.
Refund Policy
For each booking we require a deposit of £300. This deposit is made up of £50 for the registration fee and £250 to reserve your place on the course. When you pay the remainder of your fees, your deposit is deducted from the total sum.
If you cancel your course before you are due to start, you will lose your deposit of £300. If you have paid all your fees in advance, we will refund your fees minus the deposit of £300 and any bank transfer fees that are applicable (between £10 - £20).
Once you have started your course, tuition fees are not refundable or transferable. Accommodation fees can be refunded minus the specified notice period of one week for homestay and two weeks for residential accommodation.
There is no reduction or refund for occasional absence, late arrival or early departure or extended personal holidays. Nor are there any refunds for public holidays.
We advise all clients to take out insurance to cover loss of fees in the event that they have to end their course prematurely.
