Visas
If you need a visa to enter the UK, you must first:
- Complete the enrolment form and send to the school
- Send the deposit of 150 GBP
When we receive the enrolment form and deposit, we send you documents that you will need to obtain a visa. For further information and advice contact your nearest British Council Office then click on 'Learning' (top right) and then click on 'Contact Us' and then click on 'Contact us in 109 countries worldwide'. Make sure you have all the documents you need before you apply for a visa. It is a good idea to plan well in advance as getting a visa can sometimes take a long time.
Are you under 18?
The youngest age we accept is 16. If you need a visa to come and study in the UK and you are under 18 we strongly recommend that you have:
- A letter from your parents or guardian giving you permission take over to travel
- The name and address of the place you are staying at in Cambridge and homestay host
- The letter of confirmation from the school
- The name of the taxi company if you have ordered a transfer
You will need these documents if you apply for a visa.
Student Visa - Important Info
You are expected to complete the course on which you have enrolled and to attend all classes. If you fail to do this, the school may inform the Home Office about this matter.
If you decide to leave your course before you are due to finish, it is your responsibility to inform the school of a contact address, in compliance with visa rules and regulations. The school may inform the Home Office about your decision to finish your course earlier than you had originally intended.
