Lizzie Cane: Principal principal@newschool.co.uk
I've been at the school forever - as a teacher, Director of Studies and now the Principal. My job is very varied, which is why I enjoy it so much; it's wonderful to meet people from all over the world. I'm married with two children, both of whom keep me busy. I try to keep fit by playing tennis, cycling and walking.
Claire Brear: Accommodation Officer accommodation@newschool.co.uk
I am married with two teenage children and have a pet dog who needs lots of walking! I enjoy all forms of sport, especially rugby. I like to keep fit at the local gym, and I enjoy cooking for friends and spending time at the coast at the weekends. I've worked at the school since 1998.
Isobel Newport-Mangell: Director Isobel@newschool.co.uk
I became co-owner of the school with Tim in 1994, where I was already working as a teacher. I am a fluent French speaker, I'm married with two children, and I currently work two days a week at the school. I enjoy playing classical music on the piano and cello, and I also sing in the local choir.
Jacquin Seymour: Accounts accounts@newschool.co.uk
I've worked at the school since 1994, and it has been great to watch it grow and expand. I was born in Yemen, and now live in a small village south of the city. I'm a keen traveller and recently completed a one-week bike ride for charity in Cambodia.
Chris Ellis: Registrar registrar@newschool.co.uk
I live with my partner and have a son of 18. I like to keep fit and particularly enjoy step and weight classes. I also jog (slowly!) and ran a 5K Race for Life this year. I like reading, meeting with friends, walking my dog, horse riding, red wine and holidays in the sun!
Sam Harper: Social Activities Organiser events@newschool.co.uk
After leaving university, I decided to head to Japan to teach English. After returning I decided to move to Cambridge to start this job. My job is very busy but enjoyable; I get to be a tourist every day of the week!

Nick Hassett: Sales and Marketing nick@newschool.co.uk
I lived in Canada for ten years, studied Civil Engineering at university, and backpacked around the world in my twenties. I taught English for three years in the Basque country, then for three years at the school from 1996, before moving into sales and marketing. I live outside Cambridge in a small village and cycle 16km every day to work and back, which keeps me fit! I love playing tennis, travelling and learning languages (Spanish, French and Italian).
Tim Hedger: Director/Sales tim@newschool.co.uk
I was born in a village near Cambridge and studied History at university. I taught English in France and China, and in 1994 became one of the owners of the school. I'm a big fan of cricket and football (I support Arsenal), and I also play guitar for a local band (mainly blues and jazz).
