Standard Plus Course - General English Mornings + Afternoon Option

Key details

This General English course is a combination of the features of the Standard course Plus specially-designed afternoon options to help students to improve their language skills. These afternoon options include:

  • start any Monday, 21 hours a week, Monday to Friday
  • morning classes from 9.30am to 1.00pm (break 11.00 - 11.30am)
  • afternoon classes from 2.00pm to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday (no class Friday pm)

Preparation for IELTS Practice: Timed Writing, Reading, Listening or Interview practice. Feedback on performance

Preparation for IELTS Exam
IELTS (The International English Language Testing System) is recognised by many universities and employers throughout the world. The test assesses your skills through reading, listening, writing and speaking. You can take this test several times a month in Cambridge.

Cambridge Exams -  PET, FCE, CAE & CPE
For students who either want to take an exam or follow an exam course. These courses run at different times throughout the year and are dependent on level and availability.

Skills Practice
Emphasis is placed on communication and practice through real life situations and discussions. Students develop their skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening around topics of interest.

English for Work
This option is designed for those students who need to improve their ability to use English as the language of communication in the workplace.

English for Business with BEC
This course is for students who need to use English for international business purposes and who may wish to prepare for one of the BEC exams (Business English Certificate).
