If you fall ill or need advice about your health, come to the office for help. We can help you to make an appointment with a local Doctor if necessary.

The National Health Service (NHS) also provides comprehensive health advice and information through a telephone and online service NHS Direct (tel. 0845 4647; website: http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/).

If you are studying at the school for 6 months or more, you should register with a GP (local doctor in the area of your accommodation) as soon as possible after your arrival in Cambridge, even if you do not expect to need medical support or treatment during your time here. The school office can give you information about local GP practices.

Students from countries that have a bilateral healthcare agreement with the UK (including most of the European Economic Area) are eligible to receive much medical care free of charge provided they produce the relevant form (available from their national health authority). Students from other countries may qualify for free treatment, depending on their circumstances

All students should consider taking out insurance against unexpected travel and medical expenses such as repatriation after a serious accident. For emergency treatment, you can go to:
